This .308 Win ammunition features a Hornady 170gr Flat Point - Soft Point projectile.  This bullet hits like a little freight train, and will deform well when hitting bone. It hits harder and deforms better than our .308 Win 168gr A-Max, making it a better choice for hunting if you have a 1/11" or 1/12" twist rate. This ammunition is designed to be shot suppressed (Silencer) and truly is "Hollywood Quiet".  It is engineered for optimal subsonic velocity using a 16-20" barrel.  This ammunition also serves as a reduced recoil round for those with physical disabilities and desire less felt recoil.  This is NOT one of our "Expanding Subsonics."
