BECK DEFENSE is proud to announce for commercial sales our new GEN2 5.56mm Cycling Subsonic Upper and Ammunition.  The GEN2 CS Upper has a PISTON operating system that allows operation of standard velocity 5.56mm ammunition and cycles our proprietary 5.56mm Cycling Subsonic Ammuniton.  A true dual purpose weapons platform, and the first of its kind.  Over the years, many in the firearms industry have tried and failed at this monumental task.  All the laws of physics work against it.  BECK DEFENSE teamed up with BLACK RIFLE ARMS to bring the GEN2 unit to life.  BLACK RIFLE ARMS has some amazing piston operating systems and products for other applications, check them out.

How it works:

The upper half of the AR-15 style rifle has a modified action in conjunction with modified Subsonic Ammunition.  The result is our GEN2 CS UPPER.  You can shoot 5.56mm ammunition at Subsonic velocities repeatedly in a semi/full automatic fashion.  Most of you already know that Subsonic ammunition is the only way to make your suppressed firearm truly quiet. You must have a sound suppressor attached to achieve desired results.  The CS Rifle is intended to be a dedicated suppressed firearm.  Attach your suppressor and leave it on as your “go to” gun for suppressed shooting.  Standard velocity ammunition is fine for use in the standard ammunition regulator setting.  Fine tuning the system to shoot both Subsonic and Supersonic ammuniton was quite the endeavor.  Once you get the basics of operation down, the CS UPPER will give you a lifetime of use.  It's simple, there is a piston regulator knob at the front of the handguard with four settings.  To adjust the settings, you just pull and turn the regulator knob.  If the firearm is hot, there is a hole in the knob to operate using a tool or a bullet tip.  The system fires in semi-auto with seim-auto lower reciever, it is capable of full-auto fire with a full-auto capable lower receiver (aka machine gun).  Not intended for use, nor will it operate with rapid fire add on after market gadgets.

3.  Standard Velocity Ammunition without Suppressor

4.  Gas off, no cycle
